Excelsior Wellness

Excelsior_Wellness
Excelsior Wellness is groundbreaking a 24-unit intergenerational housing complex breaking ground in August 2025, designed to end the foster youth to homelessness pipeline. This innovative project features one-third of units each for at-risk youth (including former foster youth), seniors, and workforce residents in an evidence-based model that research shows improves outcomes for both youth and seniors. Located adjacent to Excelsior's vocational training center, the development will provide comprehensive wraparound services including case management, vocational training, and mentorship programs. With Excelsior's proven track record of $16M in taxpayer savings and transforming 60+ youth lives, this project aims to move 75 transition-aged youth to long-term housing stability over 10 years while creating a replicable model for addressing youth homelessness nationwide.
